ModalWindow Popping up extra window with PostBack in URL

Hi All,

I've opened up a modal window using javascript and when I click a button in that modal window it then opens up a new window with the URL: javascript:__doPostBack('cancelButton','') instead of going to the server-side asp.net onclick event.

Anyone have any idea why this would be occuring?

I gave up and started from scratch. problem dissapeared.
