Core Java Position in Irvine, CA
Senior Java Developer
The candidate must have excellent communication skills. The candidate
must have prior experience working on a development team in an
enterprise environment and have strong collaboration skills and will
be expected to collaborate with other developers, project manager,
product manager, analysts and end-user. Candidate must be well versed
in core Java skills, not just java web based systems, but business
applications/desktop applications etc...
The system to be developed will be an RIA FLEX UI tier talking through
webservices to Java middle layer with Oracle backend. The role we need
filled is that of a Sr. Java developer.
The successful candidate will have the following:
1 - Strong Java knowledge including strong core Java language skills,
collections, inheritance, multithreading, generics
2 - Strong understanding of Object Orientation Analysis and Design
best practiced and techniques
3 - Applied experience creating and consuming WebServices in Java and
WebLogic
4 - Applied experience with Hibernate
6 - Strong SQL skills
7 - Strong communication skills, able to easily communicate technical
concepts to non-technical team members
8 - Strong problem solving skills
9 - Strong knowledge of XML and XSD and XML data binding and SOAP
The preferred candidate will also have:
1 - Applied WebLogic experience
2 - Applied experience creating and consuming Web Services from a WSDL
3 - Applied JMX and java instrumentation – not mandatory
4 - Applied FLEX RIA experience – not mandatory
5 - Applied ClearCase, Cruise Control experience
