newbie problems (TJJay)

i've got this relatively simple JavaScript code that works when NOT
included in a table. when i place it in a <TD>....</TD>, the dang
thing doesn't work.

is there anyone out there that will take me under their wing and give
me a little one on one guidance (handholding)?

DOESN'T. May be simpler than you think but we've no way of knowing.
