package adding

I have a custom package which i need my J# program to use, i have an import
statement at the start of my java file (import org.jdom.*;) but visual J#
..net studio doesn't know where to look for the package. Is there any place i
need to put my package, or can i specify where .net studio has to look for
it?
I looked everywhere, in J++ which i used before it was quite easy, but now
i'm lost.

You're not serious are you? Why _would_
you expect an MS tool to be able to work
with Java? They have a history of throwing
deliberate spanners in the works.

Dump the crap and start using the command
line and you might get serious answers, otherwise
I suggest you take your broken ass tool back
to it's manufacturer for service..

| Ok, why did it work fine with visual studio 6.0 then?

I will elaborate on my first comment.

If _you_ knew how to do it yourself from
the command line, you would be in a good
position to answer that yourself, _and_ fix
your other tool.

For the answer to your question, see the
second comment.

microsoft.public.visualj 5 groups
microsoft.public.java.visualj++ 5 groups
micorsoft.public.vstudio 3 groups

Knock yourself out. (And, in case that
expression is unknown to you, it simply
means 'have fun', 'proceed with vigour'..)
