playing wav files in netscape

hi - i'm trying to have a button on a form on web page, that plays a wav
file when the button is clicked. the browser i'm using is netscape version
8.1.

i've used the <embed> tag to load up the wav file, and i'm using the DoPlay
function in javascript to make the thing play, only it's not working.

i'm not sure where i've gone wrong.

anyone out there know?
