Senior Test Lead –
Are you interested in playing a pivotal test role in Microsoft's India
offshore effort? We are looking for an industry veteran with a passion
for quality and a strong understanding of the customer to test key
Microsoft applications and tools located in Hyderabad, India. This
includes leveraging new technologies to create, drive, and implement
innovative solutions to complex technical and business problems. You
will be responsible for working with the Dev\Test\PM and PdM teams to
deliver high quality applications using the latest test best practice
approaches for current and upcoming projects. You will work closely
with Redmond teams and the local Test Lead and to deliver the product
through all phases of the project from early design to post production
support. You must be competent in supporting multiple projects of
varying levels of complexity while utilizing your knowledge of the
latest technology. Creativity, drive, intelligence, and enthusiasm as
well as the desire to make a difference in the software industry are
paramount. Work experience requirements: At least 5 years experience
in test and a strong understanding of the following areas: A) Customer
Scenario Testing; B) Integration and System Testing; and C) Test Case
Writing. Prefer candidates with knowledge of Client/Server
applications, Data Center architecture, .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET,
SQL, COM, XML and who have excellent debugging skills. The candidate
should be familiar with the Microsoft Solutions Framework and be
recognized by others as a source for new ideas and is known to be a
key contributor to any test effort. Excellent problem solving,
communication, and technical skills are required.
