Welcome to the group!

Are you using Google Groups to access this newsgroup? If so, you
should see a "Edit my subscription" link on the right-hand side of the
page. If you click that link, you will be taken to a page to manage an
email subscription to this group.

Hi Joe,

Welcome to the group!

Thanks :)

Yes, I am using Google groups. In my subscriptions, there are these
options -

No Email
I will read this group on the web

Abridged Email (No more than 1 email per day)
Get a summary of new activity each day

Digest Email (Approximately 4 emails per day)
Get up to 25 full new messages bundled into a single email

And I have selected "Digest Email" but still no emails are coming to
my Inbox (Other emails are coming through)

I thought Google groups provided a way to use my Email client to read/
sent email messages to this list but I think I have to use web browser
which I find very irritating as I am in middle of doing something and
it distracts me. Any good suggesstion ?

Thanks

Do you use a RSS reader? I believe Google Groups also publishes RSS
feeds of posts in the newsgroup.

It's all working. Thanks a lot.

I use Comcast Cable and they have (at least access to) a news server. The
only annoyance is that it sometimes gripes about my news client's need to log
in via a new connection each time I move to a new message, and that Comcast
will only support certain clients. (Outlook Express was the only one they
mentioned to me, useless to me in my Linux environment and nearly so in Windows.)

Have you tried Forte Free Agent (or Agent, which adds killfiles)?
It can slurp all headers and bodies in a single session. IIRC it can be
made to batch up postings too.
