Reinstalling ASP.NET v12.1 on XP

I had to remove IIS from XP and reinstall it. Now VS7.1 displays the
following error when I try to load an ASP.NET project

"Visual Studio.Net has detected that the specified Web server is not running
ASP.NET v1.1. You will be unable to run ASP.NET Web applications or
services"

I know ASP.Net is physically on the server. But how do I reinstall it in
IIS?
