RMI and MySQL

Hi,

I am trying to create a login page for my Java RMI app.
It is a chat client / servrer with the client being an applet.
I am trying to create a user login, where users details will be held
in a MySQL database.

My question is, does anyone know of any good tutorials or examples
that would help me? I have looked around but cannot find much on using
MI with MySQL.
