Ruby Hacking Guide Translation

I'd like to continue the translation of the "Ruby Hacking Guide" by
Minero Aoki.

which is in itself a nice summary of Ruby concepts)

My English and Japanese is sufficient to get a translation out but I
would greatly appreciate any kind of help. Especially

-English native speakers: proofreading
-Japanese native speakers: help on difficult passages
-Any advice and corrections on the subject material.
-The guide was written for ruby1.7, updates for ruby1.9?
