Hello everyone,

I'm looking to enhance my PHP coding skills, and I'm on the hunt for some reliable online platforms where I can practice. Could you please share your recommendations for websites or platforms that offer PHP coding practice?

Ideally, I'm looking for platforms that provide a range of exercises, projects, and challenges suitable for different skill levels, from beginners to more advanced developers. Additionally, any platforms that offer interactive coding environments or real-world project simulations would be fantastic.

Your suggestions and insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,Houda Belhad

The best way to learn is to as you say build something but don't get spoonfed.

There are some courses court there on Udemy, by Edward Diaz. I took two of his courses many years ago and he still updates them to this day.

There are lessons you learn in many different facets of PHP and he starts you right from the very basics and works into more complex things.

It also works on the basis of: you try first (which is critical) and then the lecturer will show you the right way.

What I would suggest after you finish one of his courses, is build something of your own similar but not the exact same to see if you grasp the concepts.

It takes a bit of time but doing it this way you only have to do it once and you're good to go.

You will probably want to look at OOP after that.

If I can offer OEM encouragement PHP was my first language the fundamental concepts and even some of the syntax have accelerated my learning of certain other languages.
