sending a request on server of google maps and capting the information?

nobody can help me giving me some advice???
can i send a request to the server of google maps about the
informations of restaurants pubs etc and try to visualize after in a
file xml?

is it possible to send a request on google maps and receive the
information...via xml jsp and java?

Is any example there??

Wrong NG, this NG is for Javascript,
jsp and java probably have other NG's, Cristina.
