Shared Assembly

I have created a shared assembly by assigning the strong name and using GACUtil put it in GAC folder. Now I have done some changes in that and placed it in GAC folder again. I don't want to change the version.

Untill I reset my IIS, my application keeps on using the older version of the assembly. Is there any particular reason for that?

How can I force my application using the latest version.
