table generator FPE style

Front page express had a nice little deal with their table generator. In
which the table outline was shown rather than the actual coding. Create a
simple row of data columns. Press enter and a new row created.
If anyone has something similar, clue me in. I kind of have need of
something like this for personal use.

Is FPE still downloadable? Where?

Front Page Express is still available, for example from
http://www.stormthecastle.com/mainpages/frontpage_express/frontpage_express_index.htm.

I'm not sure I'd recommend it, because there are better editors out there.
The feature you like isn't one I ever used so if that's the feature you are
after then I can't advise which would be a better editor to use. If you do
use FPE then I recommend you keep a copy of the download. Be aware that
Microsoft no longer support it and I seem to remember that when I upgraded
my home pc to XP that the upgrade actively searched for FPExpress and
deleted it! It wouldn't surprise me if the service packs do the same thing.

Thanks. As I said, purely for internal purposes. I haven't used FPE for any
site building since I trashed mine before win98 came out. I like the feature
of being able to enter data within the table through the wysiwyg window
rather than through the raw coding itself.
