textarea w/ images

hello,

first i'd let you know, that i'm by no means a good programmer. i do a
bit php/(x)html, but javascript is absolutely not my area. but i'm in
need of some parts of a rich-editor on textarea. this is what i need:

* a textarea
* images on top/bottom of the area
* when user clicks on an image, it is inserted into current cursor
position in textarea and displayed
(* if an image inside the textarea is clicked, it is removed) // not
very important as long as user can delete images by pressing
backspace/delete

i know that there are many-many rich-text-editor-things out there, but
they are all too complicated. i just need this image-insertion and
that's all.

i'm very grateful for any tips and links.
