Hey Nut,

I replied using google. Blame their beta. It was in there.

In this case, I think people can figure it out since I responded
DIRECTLY to the OP.

Pardon? Since you are posting to a newsgroup, you just called all
participating a nut.

Since in my newsclient I cannot see that, I still have not a clue what you
are talking about. I also very mucht dislike your attitude.

Okay, well, I used the Google beta a couple days ago and had no issues
with losing the entire post that I was replying to. You might not have
deleted it manually, would you?

There's no guarantee that your message will arrive in my newsreader in
some specific order relative to the OP's message (or any other). I may
never even see the OP's message. That's why it's important to quote the
bits you're responding to.

All the best, etc., etc.

The handle, or rather the bit after the @, says it all :)

1) In Usenet posts propogate differently. Your post may arrive before the
one you replied to. Therefore, qoting means a great eal.

2) Sometimes due to software or other factors the messages don't get
attached to thepost they're replying to.

3) Use a Usenet-compliant agent (even OE can do it) with a newsserver
(news.individual.net - see <http://www.individual.net>) and reap many
benefits.

The aol.com bit? What's with AOL? Are their subscribers required to be
aged under fifteen or something like that?

Yes, I know that. As I said, still figuring out the google beta. I
assume most newsreaders are able to display a threaded ...thread.

You don't know my situation, and in my situation, google works. Thanks

Oh, ha ha. Wow. In all my 18 years of poking around online, I've
never heard such a zinger. It's the same garbage address I've used for
the last 6 years. Don't try to attribute anything to it.

Not easy!

Come on, CSS is not that hard at all ;) Painless it may not be though
because of...

Full of pain because of IE bugs.

Yups, there are plenty of those, but after you deal them few times you what
to do next time when run into similar issue. :)

It's like that with everything in life, to master something it takes effort
and to learn workarounds when there are some problems ;) If you do not know
answer, ask around :)

Nicest side in CSS is that because of it, HTML code can be very simplified
and clean most of the cases. Still there sometimes are uses for tables, but
most cases not really :)
