I'm creating my web site, showcasing some small java applets and VB\C++ COM
files I've been working on (with the JDK1.0).. how do I use a URL with
the button to make it take the user to the next page? Basic, yes, but again,
the text I have does
not outline how to do that...

how do I use a URL with
the button to make it take the user to the next page?

You should probably ask that question in some HTML/JavaScript newsgroup.

Best regards,
Jan

But I want to do it with a Java developed in JDK1.0. The text I have doesn't
even cover it.

I actually hope he doesn't want to do *that*. Loading an applet for a
simple button, now that's what i call overkill...

You billed yourself as a web designer and you don't even know how do
do an href? Your chutzpah would choke a camel.
