XML Summer School 2011 update (Oxford 18-23 Sept)

P

Peter Flynn

It's just under three weeks to go to this year's XML Summer School at St
Edmund Hall, Oxford (18-23 September).

As always, it's packed with high quality technical XML training and
debate for every level of expertise, from the Hands-on Introduction
through to special classes devoted to XSLT and XQuery, Semantic
Technologies, Practical Web Applications and Publishing. Or if you think
you already know everything about XML, check out the Trends and
Transients day for the latest on what's hot and what's not.

Computers will now be provided for the Practical Web Applications class
(we originally said to bring laptops but we have now arranged for
desktop systems to be available).

Classes are taught by some of the most renowned XML experts, including
Michael Kay, Jeni Tennison, Priscilla Walmsley, Andy Seaborne, Norm
Walsh, Bob DuCharme, and many others.

The Summer School is also a rare opportunity to experience what life
is like as a student in one of the world's oldest university cities.

See you there!
