adding windows printer using html?

Discussion in 'HTML' started by peter degotardi, Mar 10, 2005.

  1. Looking for a way to add network printers to XP using
a simple web page. ie. You open the page, a list of
available network printers is displayed, click on the
appropriate link to have it added to your machine.

Any pointers? file:///server/printer seems to work ok
under IE, but no go with Firefox

No. HTML is not a system administration tool. Try Kixtart.
