IBM P5 series servers, Aix 5.3 & AIX 5.3 installation and
troubleshooting, lvm configuration, HMC configuration and
troubleshooting, LPAR configuration, DLPAR configuration,
micropartitioning, HACMP installation, configuration and
troubleshooting, NIM, Perform capacity planning,performance tuning
and systems monitoring using AIX native tools, Backup and recovery
experience using Legato Networker,
Different storage devices like XP1024, Netapp and EVA in SAN
and NAS environment
Experience : 5 - 10+ years
Job Description :
We are looking for a UNIX System Administrator to manage IBM P5
Series servers for ERP SAP implementation in enterprise datacenter
environment.
This position calls for in-depth knowledge and working
experience with AIX 5.3, AIX 5.3, HMC configuration, LPAR, Dynamic
LPAR, Micro partitioning, different networking protocol''s, HACMP
and different Storage devices.
Responsible for day-to-day 24x7 operations of enterprise Unix
systems in SAP environment.
-Provide primary administration and maintenance for ERP/SAP system
infrastructure services including
-Capacity plan, understand application profiles and diagram workflow
dependencies for all applications and services.
-Document procedures, troubleshooting techniques and train support
personnel.
-Participate in and lead efforts to test, upgrade, migrate and
deploy
hardware, operating systems and applications.
-Work with and lead project teams for System Operations initiatives.
-Backup and support other system administrators with workload.
-Provide on call support for Operations staff during escalations.
-Other duties as assigned.
