windows server 2003 & response.redirect

hi

i've developed a asp.net web application using vs2003 and 1.1
framework.
The site is using forms based authenication.
The site is working correctly on my win xp pro development machine.
I've just deployed the app to windows server 2003 and now the problems
have occurred.
After entering the username and password on the login page, the
System.Web.Security.FormsAuthentication.RedirectFromLoginPage hangs,
and the page doesn't redirect.
