A way to define env-entry for the whole application

Is there a way to define Environment Variables in the .ear file and by
that defining a project global variable ?

Is there a way to define Environment Variables in one place instead of
both descriptors (web.xml and ejb-jar.xml)?

Is there a way to define a variable for all the ejbs in one place and
not for every ejb ?
