Is there a speedy way for a script to automatically identify which
country an IP address is from ?

Can you use a script to do a DNS lookup? If the IP address you want to
check is aa.bb.cc.dd then look it up at dd.cc.bb.aa.zz.countries.nerd.dk
and check the country code it returns. For more information, see:
