Button_Click in DetailsView clean values of other controls

Hi there ,
I have a detailsview in edit mode including few textboxes, dropdowns and
one button in template fields.the button is disposed in one of the template
fields of the detailsview
When a Button _click event occurs, all values of textboxes are cleared and
dropdownlists loose their selected values.

Any idea , how to sort out the problem?
