ClassNotFoundException thrown after 1.4.2 upgrade from 1.3.1

I keep getting a ClassNotFoundException being thrown when trying to run
my app after a clean, error free build with the 1.4.2 SDK.

Issue at this point seems to be confined to findSystemClass. However
I would like to know why it is not finding the classes that are
exactly where I say they are, i.e.

com.gobble.dee.gook entered as com/gobble/dee/gook

Any help is appreciated. Please reply email if possible.
