Converting to Visual Python

I am trying to convert an existing library of Python programs and modules to
be used with Visual Python. I cannot see a way of creating a Python project
that does not create a new directory, etc. I would like the projects to
dwell in the current file structure, and I would like each module to be its
own project within the solution, so that each module has its own way of
being started, etc.

Has anyone come up against this problem, and if so how did you get around
it?
