FTP software - what is the software of choice for large websites?!

nope. i just wanted to use the same address for two different accounts.
it said i was a bad man for wanting that.
or you're using an email address that has been blocked.

What is the FTP-utility of choice for web designers?

SmartFTP gets my vote. Get it from http://www.smartftp.com/

If you find yourself without a dedicated FTP program (e.g. when working at
a client's site) remember you can always use a web browser. Internet
Explorer will let you drag and drop files as simply as anything. Opera and
Mozilla can also be pressed into service.
