The "technical idea" you were requesting was inherently politically
loaded, since you wanted to spend extra effort to make your product
less valuable so that you could get more money, which is simply
perverse, and since the very reason that doing such a thing might
actually be in your interests (if not anyone else's!) is due to bad
legislation.
