Intellisense bug?

T

If you haven't implemented your own schema for your control, then it is by
design. VS.NET's Intellisense knows nothing about your control's
Intellisense features unless you have developed a schema for it e.g checking
the type is solely dependant on external XSD schema. Note that this doesn't
prevent using & running your control, it is purely designer problem.

If it helps at all, there is a free tool to generate these schemas:

Teemu,
thanks a lot for your reply!

This bug only appears when a schema *is* implemented, otherwise not.
You can test that by typing something randomly in a tag, Intellisense
will not protest at all.

Intellisense protests only like this when a schema is implemented, and
always with this erroneous error message.

What I would like to know is whether this is a known bug, and to what
extent I and the users of my components have to live with this.

Best regards
