Hi,

I'm a moderate expericence java-programmer and have made some homebrewed
applets for internet and now I'm downsizing to mobile phones, but I really
don't know how to begin.

I have read that I should dig into J2EE. Is that correct?

I would really appreciate links to some kind of source code that can be
compiled in JBuilder or another compiler. A "hello world" program that I can
download to my mobile would be a great victory for me.

Please, I'm a bit desperate and frustrated - It can't be that hard can it?

No, you should check out J2ME. http://java.sun.com/j2me/index.jsp

Download the Wireless Toolkit. It contains all you need, and includes examples.
