link checking?

Hi all,
Has anyone had any experience of this firm
and there services?
http://www.seventwentyfour.com/
I have no connection with them, but received an
email from them informing me of a broken link on
one of my sites.

There are several companies out there that eat up
your bandwidth doing you a 'service' that you didn't
ask for. Figure out what their robot is and block
the sucker in robots.txt. If that doesn't work,
do a second block in .htaccess by denying access to
a small range around their address. You can google
up tutorials on how to do this.

If you want to check your own links, there are many
tools that can be downloaded for most op systems.
Why pay for what you can do easily?
