Login from a list of registrations on SQL on the web

I have an extensive number of users on my SQL server provided by my ISP (it
is not an .mdf file)

I am new to ASP.NET & want my users to login using a reference to this
table: email + password (and roles)

How can I do this using Visual Web Developer 2005
