I asked earlier for help but i have been browseing the internet for
templates and I found a nice looking one. I know the purple side with the
buttons makes it look funny. But I wanted you to check out my site now and
does it look better or somewhat better? www.searcydigest.com thanks for
your support.

Please list links as http://www.searcydigest.com/ as there are some
newsreaders that will not make a clickable link unless you include the
http:// (note trailing slash as well)

Your site is still way too wide. Can't you find a design that flows
into the available space in the right frame?

On my 800x600 browser window:

Reduce your own browser to less than maximized. Not everyone does
that, y'know...

I agree with this. Your content goes waaaaaaaaaaaay to the right. Another
thing I noticed is that for some of the links that go back to the home
page you get that double loading thing. Use target=_top for those links
and the problem will disappear.

pfancy,

If you would get rid of the frames and use the template that you picked
up from Darkbow, your page would probably be OK. It is still too wide
and, IMHO, it should be no more than around 750px. At 800x600 it would
just fit the screen and at 1024x768, you'd want to have it center itself
(CSS). Or, you could put a menu frame across the top--if I remember
frames correctly. Keep searching!

Just one of the evils of frames... <g>

Here is a page with links to many 2- and 3-columns CSS layouts that
pfancy could snag and use.

Use the force.

Thanks for all the advice. I'll definitely look into it. I looked at my site
at 800x600 and yes i agree it looks nasty. Sooner or later I'll have it
worked out. Thanks of the tips and comments. Good and bad. I need some kind
of feedback which i couldn't get for a while. Do you want me to keep you
posted on my updates?

Or try http://www.strangebanana.com/generator.aspx/

Keep on clicking until you see something you like. Then read the "How to
use this webpage design on your own page" at
http://www.strangebanana.com/howtouse.aspx (or read it first actually).

Doing this may even help you learn about building a page on your own.

Good design and looks. But frames?
You could do the same thing in CSS better.
Using position:fixed, would keep your main menu in the same location
regardless of scrolling.
Downsize the center column and downsize the images as well.
Much to big of a screen as it is now.
