Pocket IE 5.1 - JavaScript - Keyboard

Hi,

We have developed a solution for Mobile 4.2 (2003) that runs in pocket IE.
It's a simple web application but its using JavaScript to map keys to links
on the pages (press '1' to go to..., press 'esc' to exit and so on). It
works really great - on 4.2. The problem now is that some clients are
running Mobile 5.1 and in that version of IE the "java script keyboard
mapping" is NOT working - at all. If we install Opera or MiniMo its works
(kinda) but not in IE.

Can any of you guys come up with a explanation as to why 5.1 IE is
"blocking" for accees to the keyboard, or maybe even come up with a solution
to the problem?

Thanks

Hi,

I have developed a web-based solution for Windows Mobile that runs in pocket
IE/Symbol pocket browser. But both the browsers are not supporting javascript
to implement function keys to link on the pages (press '1' to go to...and so
on).

Can any of you guys come up with a explanation as to why Windows Mobile
IE/Pocke browser is supporting javascript for accees to the keyboard, or
maybe even come up with a solution to the problem with sample script?

Thanks
Ravin
