Question: Accessing ASP session variable

I have a site that contains many ASP pages and a few ASP.NET pages.

If I set a session variable in an ASP page can this be accessed in my
ASP.NET page?

Any quick examples?

Not directly (built in).

There is a way to share session state between the two, however:
