Quick Question about PHP

is <% and %> what is used to denote the start and stop of PHP on server-side .php script?
I seem to remember that this is the case and I am looking for verification and I can suspect a search engine will be a pain with the percentage character.

No. That is the start/stop for ASP. For PHP it's <?php and ?>
