Greetings.

Is there a newsgroups for beginners questions?

Most of the people here will be happy to help you, provided that you read
the FAQ first to make sure your question's not already answered there, and
if not, formulate your questions clearly and concisely, with evidence that
you've already thought a bit about the problem (e.g., by providing a
minimal example exhibiting a certain problem).

Yup, it's called: comp.lang.c. Just don't use as a substitute for
consulting your favourite C book. If the book is not clear enough for
you, post the question here.

This group is an abomination:

1. It wasn't needed in the first place. *Legit* newbie questions have
always been welcome here.

2. It is an atrocious idea to mix C and C++ in the same newsgroup.
Especially in a newsgroup dedicated to beginners.

Thank you Dan
That was very welcoming of you.
