Reference 2.0 dll from 1.1

We have a library DLL created in .Net 2.0. How would I go about referencing
that from an ASP.Net 1.1 application?

In VS 2003 when I try to add a reference to the 2.0 dll it tells me it
can't.

Any ideas?
