Job Title:Server (Intel) Tower Lead
Job Location:Minneapolis, MN
Job Duration: 36 Months(contract)
Pay Range:Open
Job Description:
8-10+ years of Windows/Intel Systems Administration experience and industrycertifications MCSE, MCSA, and MCP.
The Server (Intel) Consultant performs tasks such as:
·Lead the design and architecture of complex Intel systems.
·Direct the implementation of advanced solutions to meet client requirements, establish Wintel-related security policies, procedures, and processes.
·Proactively assess systems security and take steps to minimize vulnerabilities
·Direct Systems Administration Intel Junior and Senior personnel in the implementation and optimization of hardware, operating systems, and ancillary software for Intel systems
·Develop required system functions via scripts and shell programming
·Provide advanced technical expertise including kernel tuning for database and applications servers, and advanced performance monitoring and systemsoptimization
·Ensure backup and restore functions are performing optimally
·Retain responsibility for ensuring the resolution of escalated support calls.
·Key Need: X86 Virtualization using Hyper V, evolving hardware (Blade servers) and some private Cloud Computing.
