Title: Sr. ETL Programmer/Analyst for the Information Management
Program
Description of worker's responsibilities: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of a new Data Management program, the Senior ETL Programmer/
Analyst - Lead Analyst will help lead the technical development
efforts for the ETL framework and associated initiatives that have
been identified to be a part of a strategic corporate data warehouse.
Work with the program's Data Warehouse Architect to ensure data
mapping and data models are designed, implemented and maintained to
support timely ETL development.
Work with the business/system analyst to interpret system requirements
and to understand the source systems for extracts. The Technical
Specialist will work with the DBA and data modelers to map the source
system to the data warehouse models.
Assure development and implementation of ETL development governance
including ETL development guiding principles, polices, procedures and
standards.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 7-9 years of experience, as an ETL Lead Programmer (Data
Stage experience a must) with a background of working on medium to
large scale data warehouse projects.
Strong database technology skills in one or more of the following: SQL
Server and Oracle.
4-5 years of Data Sate experience.
4-5 years structured programming experience (PL/SQL,C, T-SQL)
Experience with offshore development models.
Exposure to CMMI Level 3 software development lifecycle management
processes.
It is preferred that the candidate has worked in the financial
industry with specific experience in Traditional Credit Products:
loans, leases, asset or collateral management.
BS in CS, Economics, Math, Information Systems (IS), or related
discipline. This position requires the ability to manage initiatives
to aggressive time frames to assure that deadlines are met. This a
fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
