Using 2.0 server controls in 1.1 projects?

Is this possible? Assuming i add the appropriate reference(s). For example,
can i use the file upload control in 1.1 projects.

No, you can't use code compiled for v2.0 in a v1.1 environment. One reason
is that the metadata file format was modified for v2.0.

Ok thx. I didnt realize the metadata had changed. I thought perhpas i could
just add a reference as i do w/ my custom controls.
