How does it look like?

Awful. It has useless vertical scrolling. The links don't work properly. And
I can't be bothered to go futher becuase...
I know. I know. Do not use frames, and so on.
I'd just like to hear other people's opinions about it.

So you know what the regulars here are going to say, and yet you ask for
their opinions before fixing the things you know they'll object to.

What browser and screen resolution do you use?
Just wanna know what's the matter so I can fix it.

a) I was thinking more about comments of how does it look and so on.

b) I don't see why frames are so bad that I shouldn't use them.

Ok, ok. I admitt that my pages arent the most accessible sites
on the web, but to me, they seem to be working just fine.

You already know how it looks. Do you like it?

b) I don't see why frames are so bad that I shouldn't use them.

You have no need for them on your site though, have you?

Mozilla, 2624x1200
What's the matter with the links?

Some don't open, some open in new windows for no apparent reason.

Here's an idea - read the comments the regulars give when we say that
frames are a bad idea!

Looks good to me, but I'm not anti sites that have frames, tables or use no
CSS.
I know. I know. Do not use frames,

see above, and its your choice to use frames. Join the rest of us who can
live with the 'problems'.

Have no problem with you opening another window, but don't take away my
toolbars etc.

On my 880 x 600 IE 5.5, your fixed left menue frame has the bottom text
partially hidden.

To be honest, after an eternity to load, the music was not to my taste, but
then I detest rap music.

So there you have it Janne, my two pence worth and probably in a minority of
one for this group.

And if you don't want anyone other than yourself visiting your site, this
is a perfectly healthy attitude. :)

Janne,

From first impressions it seems to me that you have used rather a lot of
allegedly 'cool' tricks but forgot the golden rule... just because you can
doesn't mean you should. And since they all seem to appear at the expense of
the site's content, then rather than enhancing the site, it comes across as
all so much 'bling-bling'.

I think a vast majority of people would infinitely prefer a simple, clean
site with lots of easily accessible content rather than lots of trickery.
IMHO I think that whenever you design anything for the Web you have to come
at it from the users' perspective, never your own. You've posted the URI on
here so you do seem prepared to take other people's opinions on board, but
unless you are getting a lot of positive feedback in the first instance then
I would definitely recommend going back to the drawing board.

On one very specific point, please restrict your use of italics to when you
need to emphasize only one or two words and even then I would say that it's
better to embolden text than to italicise it. The reason being that anyone
with even slightly impaired vision (don't just think of blind people here,
think of people who are maybe over about 60 when the eyes aren't working
quite the same) is going to find your text far more unreadable than someone
with perfect sight and the chances are that will have them navigating away
from your site. Somehow I don't think that's what you had in mind.

Good luck.

Regards Carmen.

Of course I've tested it with many different browsers and resolutions and
I haven't had any serious problems, with a low resolution though, the
menu on the left doesn't fit fully in the screen.
