WHY Can't someone help me??

Yes, I am wondering why no one/nobody will help me with my question
about the servlet method "getRealPath()"--which is now deprecated!! So,
I was naturally wondering just what should be the valid equivalent
method expression for the current Servlet 2.4 API?!!

What is it you want to do? How about
filename = file.getAbsolutePath();

"Nos", the method in question is used in one of these
"internationalization" kind of servlets, i.e., a message is "imparted"
to the viewer in about 3 or 4 different languages!!! So, the
"getRealPath()" has been replaced by the "getAbsolutePath()" method by
now??
