Dear Colleague,

Efficient and powerful medical imaging systems have been assuming a
growing and crucial importance in medicine, allowing a deep
examination and understanding on the human body and, therefore,
playing an essential role for adequate diagnosis, treatment and follow-
up.
The main goal of the Workshop “Medical Imaging Systems” is to bring
together researchers involved in the related domains, in order to set
the major lines of development for the near future.
Due to your research activities, we would like to invite you to submit
a contributed paper for the Workshop “Medical Imaging Systems”.


WORKSHOP TOPICS (not exhaustive):

- Image acquisition;
- Signal processing;
- Image processing and analysis;
- Modelling and simulation;
- Computer aided diagnosis;
- Surgery, therapy, and treatment;
- Computational bioimaging and visualization;

- Hardware systems.


IMPORTANT DATES:

- Submission Deadline (extended abstract or full paper): February 5,
2010;
- Notification of Acceptance or Rejection: February 15, 2010;
- Authors provide camera-ready manuscript: March 20, 2010;
- Conference Events: April 14-16, 2010.
