Appfuse, equinox what are they exactly?

i first i thought i should try equinox becouse i thought i could get a
diffrence on what its' like to developer on all major web developl
platforms.

then i saw Appfuse, which is somewhat should a bigger version, but i
don't understand it...

i'm looking for something that should allow me to compare between
webwork, tapestry,JSF,struts..

btw webwork, any opinions about it? compared to jsf/ struts ?
