Can search find index Multiple sites on one server

Hi have a few sites that i host on the one server, the main one is in the
main directory / , there others are off the main directory in folders like
/cars, /bikes

Will the search engines robots have any problems indexing these site of the
main directory, do i need to put seperate robot.txt in these sites of the
main directory, or is just one robot.txt ok in the main directory.
