Certificate for long time for .Net software

As I publish my App, I see the certificate lasting for just "one year".

What can I do to have a unlimited ( life time ) certificate ?

I read few informations about this "one year time", the only answer read is about to pay 100$ by "legit agencies",

is there a solution to make it myself ?
