This assumes that you are able to pick up the fundamentals of OO
programming
very quickly

Yes, I think an existing understanding of OO will have a huge impact on the
time it takes to understand .NET and use it efficiently and effectively.

I also think the original poster will get better answers in a dotnet group,
where there are more likely to be a larger concentration of people who have
already made the migration.

Thanks Aaron, Curt
I am just about to take on a Multi national / Global project and although I
can produce comercial asp & vb in my sleep.
I have not had time to play with .Net and would like to gain the benifits of
..Net without compromising my project or adding to much of time over head,
the project should take about six months in asp.
So If if their is 6 months to get a comercial understanding of net then
atleast the last page should be ok .

I sugestions on best way to get upto speed with out wasting time ?
