Here to create a stand alone folder to hold files without all the left side stuff or extra stuff

Okay so I know the title is a bit long but here goes I want a plain Jane folder without all the stuff like what is seen on the top of the open space. Like buttons and drop downs and such. I just want a frame to hold my favorite apps that can be clicked on. I also want rounded corners if possible.

I just want to open a folder and have a frame and then icons inside for shortcuts and then be able to customize this folder window a bit. Is there anyway to do this. IF you need more information please just ask and I will try to take a screenshot and edit it and upload it to the message. Thank You!
