hi, i'm a vhdl beginner and i've just finished implementing & connecting an external 8-bit ADC to my spartan fpga board. I'm currently sampling with a very high frequency which can cause me a problem later (with LCD display). What i need to do next is to take like 1000 (ad conversion 8-bit) results, sum them and average them to get a new result (output). Any idea how could i do it? With a counter or maybe with a loop? Thanks for your answers.
